Not yet familiar with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose?
ECOVERO™ viscose is a responsibly produced alternative to conventional viscose fibers. Properties such as feel, drape and processing are indistinguishable from conventional viscose fibers.
However, there is a major difference in fiber production. Only wood fibers from certified and controlled, sustainably managed forests are used for production. The fiber production of ECOCERO™ fibers takes place in a closed cycle with a high proportion of recycled chemical material and solvents.
Compared to the production of conventional viscose fibers, less water is used and fewer CO2 emissions are emitted.
