Cuff fabrics

Due to their high elasticity, waistband fabrics are mostly used for the ends of the arms or the neck and hips. They provide a neat finish and also give the garment some support and shape.

Cuffed fabrics are particularly elastic knitted fabrics that look the same on both sides.
In a 1x1 rib, purl and knit stitches alternate, so the surface is smooth on both sides; in a 2x2 rib, there are two knit and two purl stitches, creating the ribbed structure.
