Free sewing pattern cushion cover "Monster"

Monster-strong cushion cover - for fun and adventure in the nursery

Free instructions for less experienced sewers. Beginners can fill the cover with batting and close it permanently. Experienced sewers can add a zip. Eyes can be embroidered or sewn on with fine strips of fabric. The monster's mane and teeth give you the opportunity to personalise your pillow monster. As many small pattern pieces are required, you can easily utilise fabric remnants. You can also swap our pattern pieces for the front section from top to bottom. Experiment with our pattern, fabrics, colours and patterns to quickly create a monster family for your child's room just the way you want it.

What fabrics is the sewing project suitable for?

Basically, both woven and knitted fabrics are suitable. For beginners, we would recommend a cotton fabric such as poplin, braided waffle, cotton quilt or our twill/muslin. For more experienced sewers, knitted fabrics both with and without structure, such as waffle jersey, terry jersey or sweat, are also suitable.

We have linked a few product suggestions and the free sewing instructions for you to download below.
