Fabric Facts - Iron-on interlining
WHAT IS (IRON-ON) INTERLINING?
Iron-on interlining or interlining is used to reinforce, stabilize or give structure to fabrics.
Which interlining is needed depends on many factors such as project, fabric type, use, etc.
For example, there are Interlining for elastic fabrics to make sewing easier
Interfacing to reinforce and stiffen fabrics, e.g. for stiff pockets
Iron-on interlining in tape form, for heavily stressed seams
Interfacing for sewing on appliqués
and many more...
