Simple sewing project for the Advent season

How about a self-sewn Advent calendar?

It's quick and easy to sew a nice, reusable Advent calendar from some fabric.

We have created free instructions for you for an Advent calendar made from gift bags. You don't need a lot of sewing experience, this sewing project is perfect for your first steps on the sewing machine.

What do you need?

Your sewing machine, a little time, an iron and:

Woven fabric, matching thread and some ribbon or cord for closing. Optionally, you can decorate the bags with patches, iron-on pictures, embroidery or similar according to your wishes and thus conjure up a very individual Advent calendar.

In our photo example, we used natural nettle and printed and painted it with fabric paint. It was fun for young and old.
