Description
French terry/summer sweat is stretchy and not brushed on the back, so you can see the individual stitches very clearly. It is lighter than sweat but thicker than jersey.
It is warming, breathable, absorbent, robust and very comfortable to wear. This makes it ideal all year round for comfortable clothing such as T-shirts, sweaters, dresses or jogging bottoms. French terry is particularly popular for making baby and children's clothing.
Use a jersey or stretch needle when sewing to make your project as successful as possible!
