Handle this material with extreme care during processing.
If possible, secure the cut edges directly after cutting. If necessary, sew or bar tack the connecting seams of the raffia stitches.
We recommend cutting a wider seam allowance than required, then securing the cut edges and only cutting back the seam allowance after the seam has been finished (only if it is in the way).
