Super soft poplin.

Cotton as a fabric or poplin can be used in many different ways and is suitable for many sewing projects for clothing and decoration. It is known for its high level of comfort, its softness, the great absorbation of moisture and its high breathability. Canvas fabrics, which are ideal for outdoor usage, are especially sturdy and durable and tear-resistant. Due to its original use as a sailcloth, the fabric is flame retardant, breathable and resistant to aggressive salt water.

Poplin is not stretchy and therefore more suitable for skirts, blouses, dresses and trousers. Decorative items regarding house and furnishing can also be realized very well with Poplin like pillows, covers, bed linen, curtains, tablecloths, napkins and much more are great do-it-yourself projects for cotton fabrics. The more durable and stiffer canvas is perfect for furniture and other often used items. The production of fashionable bags and backpacks made of canvas is also very popular.
