Albstoffe

Albstoffe emphasises ecological sustainability and ethical manufacturing practices. Many of their products are GOTS-certified, which means that the fabrics meet the strict standards of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), which includes both ecological and social criteria.

Hamburg-based designer and graphic artist Susanne Firmenich combines her love of sewing with her professional skills as a graphic designer to create enchanting collections with her very own signature style. Hamburger Liebe has now become a sought-after brand and enjoys great popularity in Germany and Europe.

The fabrics are produced in co-operation with Albstoffe in Germany under strict ecological criteria. The fabrics are made from organic cotton and are knitted, dyed and printed at Albstoffe or in the region. And they are produced in accordance with the strict requirements of GOTS certification. As KATTUN, like Albstoffe, is also GOTS-certified, we can guarantee a complete, certified supply chain.

The Performance series from Albstoffe stands for knitted fabrics for sports, fitness and water sports. Thanks to the silver ion treatment, the fabrics are antibacterial and therefore odour-inhibiting. It also consists of 40% recycled polyester. In addition to the high elastane content of 20%, the Trevira Bioactive microfibre ensures good moisture absorption and release.
